The Board

The Board of European School Copenhagen consists of three external members (one appointed by the EEA), one external member appointed by and from the Copenhagen City Council, three staff representatives, four parent representatives and two student representatives. The Director of the European School Copenhagen is a member without voting rights. 

The board meets 5-6 times a year and you can see the meeting dates in the Meeting Calendar.

The Board establishes principles for the school’s activities, including the school’s vision, values, objectives and budgets.

Composition

The board of the European School Copenhagen consists of the following members appointed in accordance with the by-laws of European School Copenhagen (ESCPH), §4.

  • 3 external members appointed by European School Copenhagen
  • 1 external member appointed by and from the Copenhagen City Council 
  • 4 members elected by the parents 
  • 3 members elected by the staff 
  • 2 members elected by the students 

Members without voting rights:

  • The director of European School Copenhagen
