World Math Day

For Math Day, P1 EN created different calculations to reveal number facts about themselves. E.g. How old am I? 16 – 8 ?
What is my shoe size? 30 + 2 =

Their partners then had to solve the calculations.

For world Maths day, OFR students went outside to search for circles and squares. They tried to find out how many children does it take to reach around the big chimney ( we are not enough 😊) and they counted how many stairs there were from the ground floor to the 1st floor playground!

P4 FR, EN and DK had some enigmas to solve by teams all around the school : “Find 5 different types of triangles in the schoolyard.” or “How tall is the chimney in the school yard ?”
