Sarah wins the U10 Danish Chess Championships

Sarah Sima from Primary 4DK is going from strength to strength in all of the chess tournaments she enters. This weekend, she won the Danish Chess Championships (DM) for U10 and can now proudly call herself “Danmarksmester i Skak”.

She won 5.5 points out of 7 possible, taking home the well deserved trophy and title. The DM was organised by DSU (Danish Chess Federation) in Odense 21-22 November, and in the U10 group, there were 23 children from all over the country.

With this win, Sarah has qualified to represent Denmark in the Nordic Championships (Nordiske Mesterskaber) in the Faroe Islands in February 2021.

We are looking forward to hearing more from Sarah about the Nordic Championships in the New Year!
