Proclamation: Congratulations to this year’s graduates

Tillykke! Congratulations! Félicitations!

On 28th of June 2024, the class of 2024 celebrated their graduation from European School Copenhagen at their Proclamation. The day was celebrated in the PE Hall that was filled with the students’ families, friends, and teachers. We went through an exciting programme that spanned from sing-a-longs, a teacher speech, student speakers, student band performances, prizes from the Parents Association, and, of course, the presentation of their EB diplomas on stage.

We all got together and sang ‘With a Little Help From My Friends’ to emphasize the importance of friendship and community in life. After this, two students came together on their guitars and played Kim Larsen’s ‘De Smukke Unge Mennesker’ which is a Danish song that is often played and sung around graduation times – it is about young people growing up, love, and figuring out life.

We wish all of our graduating students congratulations with their EB diplomas and the best of luck in the future – but first of all, a well-deserved summer holiday after all your hard work for the past three years.
