On Monday 21 November, The European School Copenhagen hosted an Orientation Evening for more than 200 parents interested in the school.

Anette Holst, Director of Sankt Annæ Gymnasium and European School Copenhagen, and Hanne Schmidt, Head of Primary, welcomed everyone and gave a presentation on the school, the European School System and the application process and admission criteria.

This was followed by information about the curriculum and classroom activities with presentations from two of the school’s teachers, Nursery Teacher Stephanie Lambert, and Primary Teacher Joel Samaha. The attendees also heard from one of the parent representatives on the Board, Henriette Vollmers-Hansen. After the presentations, the attendees had the opportunity to look inside the class rooms and ask questions.

The Orientation Evening kicked off the application process for the school year 2017/18. The deadline for applications for the school year 2017/18 is 31 December 2016. You can find more information about the admission process and criteria under “Admission Process”.
