Study for a European Baccalaureate at an international school in the heart of Copenhagen

Apply for the Upper Secondary (gymnasium)

Do you want a European Baccalaureate diploma at an international school in the heart of Copenhagen?

The Upper Secondary at European School Copenhagen is a comprehensive multilingual youth education much like a Danish STX in terms of covering a wide range of subjects and a flexible combination and choice of subjects.

The Upper Secondary leads to the European Baccalaureate diploma, which is an officially recognised entry qualification for Higher Education in Denmark and all other countries of the European Union and in many other countries in the world.

You can still apply for school start in one of our new S5 (1.g) classes in August 2024

The European School Copenhagen is an accredited school under the internationally acknowledged system of European Schools. The European Schools are known for their high academic standards and a declared mission to build bridges between cultures – not least through the knowledge of foreign languages.

European Education

At European School Copenhagen, we strive to give our students more than academia. Every year, we have planned events and social activities that make sure that all students meet with external presenters, have theme days and interact with your peers across classes and year levels – to ensure that everybody gets a broad European Education.
