ESCPH wins 2nd place in DM Skoleskak (Danish School Chess Championships)

Over the weekend, the ESCPH school team participated in DM for Skoleskak and came second.

Sarah Sima Derlich (P4)  was captain of the team, which also included her big brother Christian and Diya Shekar (P4) and Tunav Penki (S1). They played in Group B for kids from 4-6th grade.

Due to the current Corona health and safety restrictions, the games were played online on a platform called Lichess where the kids were competing in teams of four.

Sarah and Diya are both in Primary 4 and therefore still have two more years in the same category and are already showing really good performance.
