ESCPH says goodbye to Director Julie Rørdam Thom

After 4,5 years at European School Copenhagen, we will say goodbye to Director Julie Rørdam Thom, who says “watching the school develop into a European School in its own right has been fantastic.”

Julie was hired to be the head of the entire school, and specifically to develop and build the Upper Secondary. The first students graduated with the European Baccalaureate in 2023, which has been a big milestone for the school.

“Being part of such a unique international school with dedicated management, staff and students has been very inspiring. I have experienced that the school has a strong and inclusive environment with room for students from many different backgrounds and with different academic interests,” Julie says.

From 1st of August, she will assume the position as Head of Himmelev Gymnasium, a Danish STX and HF in Roskilde.

European School Copenhagen wishes to thank Julie for her dedicated work as Director of the school and congratulate her on her new role.
