Teaching

Political Science is an interdisciplinary subject that introduces students to the different aspects of politics, such as international relations and ideologies. Students follow a dynamic curriculum targeted to make students familiar with the basic concepts in Political Science. Besides that, much time is spent on current events such as specific elections (eg. Danish kommunalvalg or American Presidential elections) and conflicts around the world (eg. Israel-Palestine conflict or the war in Ukraine). These current events can be taught through presentations, class discussions, research, or the invitation of experts in a specific field.

Exam

As a complementary subject, Political Science cannot be chosen as an oral or written exam for the baccalaureate.

The A mark assesses your skills and contribution in class, but as Political Science drives on class discussions, engagement is very important.

The B mark is the average of a test each semester, so two in total. These B-tests are designed to combine the assessment of the content that is covered in class and an application of this content with ones own interest and creativity.
