Meet Madelaine Kirk – our new Deputy Head of Secondary

We are delighted to welcome Madelaine Kirk as our new Deputy Head of Secondary.

Maddy, as she is known to staff and students, joined ESCPH in 2017, first as a teacher in primary and then in 2018 as a teacher in secondary. Before moving to Denmark, she worked in a mix of state and private schools in Bristol.

Besides teaching, Maddy has held a variety of roles at ESCPH, including Wellbeing Coordinator, L1 Coordinator and Staff Representative, and therefore brings a lot of experience to her new job.

Julie Thom, Deputy Director of the European School Copenhagen, said: “We are all very much looking forward to working with Maddy and working together to chart the course for the success and wellbeing of staff and students in the lower secondary”.
